A
high performance data acquisition system, the MP System
data acquisition system with AcqKnowledge™ software
presents a flexible, easy-to-use modular system made to
perform data collection and analyses exactly as you want.
AcqKnowledge™ software is a powerful and flexible
package: Record, analyze and filter data in real time,
then continue analysis after collection. Data can be
plotted in chart-recorder or scope style, as an X-Y
diagram and even as a histogram. You can design complex
data acquisition, stimulation, triggering and analyses
using simple pull-down menus and dialog boxes — no need
to learn a new programming language or protocol. The
hardware is designed to allow easy amplifier additions and
changes so you can customize equipment to match your
research needs. Amplifiers snap together and pull apart
for simple substitutions. Channel number assignments are
made or changed by moving a switch at the top of each
amplifier, and the channel order can be changed in the
software.
The MP System hardware provides a flexible tool for your
research and teaching needs. The modular, powerful
interface system can be used with the add on amplifiers
and accessories or with equipment you already have. The
newly expanded range of amplifiers further enhances your
ability to create a system to suit your application
requirements. Amplifiers snap together and pull apart for
simple substitutions. MP Starter Systems include all
hardware, software and documentation you need to get
started…then you can add amplifier modules, transducers,
and electrodes to match your research design.

Amplifier
modules for MP100 systems
A
full range of high performance differential amplifiers
is available for use with the MP100 and MP150 system.
These single-channel amplifiers are optimized for
specific physiological signals. With the systems large
dynamic range, only a few controls are necessary. To
obtain more channels, just snap the modules together up
to 16. All amplifiers employ user-selectable filter,
offset, and gain controls. Interfacing the DA100’s 2mm
pins to other transducers is easily accomplished by
plugging in a TCI Adapter. All of the "C"
modules now are configured for the DIN standard 1.5mm
safety socket.

The
MP150 offers Ethernet-ready data acquisition and
analysis. Record multiple channels with differing
sample rates. Record at speeds up to 400 kHz
(aggregate). Place one or more MP150 Systems in a
local area network (LAN). Use any PC in the LAN to
record from any MP150 System in the LAN. Recommended
configuration: MP150 System and local area network
connected to the computer’s Ethernet port via the
Ethernet Switch. This configuration provides optimal
performance when connecting both an MP150 System and a
network to the computer. In cases where the computer
has no Ethernet port, an industry standard PCI
Ethernet card or adapter is required. Minimum computer
requirements: PC: Ethernet Interface with Windows 98,
98SE, 2000, NT4.0, and ME. Recommended minimum RAM: 64
Mbytes. Macintosh: System 8.6 or better, RAM: 64
Mbytes. Power PC native (Power PC 601 or better
required)
