The multi-purpose pipette storage container can be used for storage, sterilization and silanization of the glass micropipettes. The aluminium base plate holds 20 pipettes of most popular sizes. Glass micropipettes can be silanized by adding silane to the reagent well in the centre. A stainless wire guard protects the pipette from damage when the cover is removed. The 100 mm tall Pyrex glass cover will accommodate pipettes up to 110 mm tall. The complete container with pipettes in-situ can be dry-heat sterilized at 170º, ensuring contamination-free pipettes.
