Flexible Micro Scissors

When cutting precision is an issue, MicroCut UltraMicro Scissors are the answer. MicroCut UltraMicro Scissors can be mounted on a micromanipulator such as WPI's M325. The micromanipulator will position the tip of the scissor to the exact location for cutting. These newly developed scissors are activated using the touch of a push button located on the distal end of the scissor. The same button is also used to rotate the scissor blades to the best direction for your cutting needs. Because the activation button is connected to the scissor blades through a flexible cable, no vibration of the hand will be transferred to the scissor tip. MicroCut is especially suited for cutting subjects 0.5mm or less. With these scissors, an 8 micron carbon fibre electrode can be cut with precision and ease. Handle and shaft are made of titanium to decrease overall weight of scissors.
