Ussing
Systems
WPI's
Ussing System offers researchers a quick, effective means
of making low-resistance electrical connections to the
Ussing chamber without need of long agar bridges or
Calomel half-cells.
Vibroslice
uses a vibrating blade to slice tissues without the trauma
produced by other methods. Live brain or other tissues can
be cut into slices 50- to 700-microns thick.
During
the last two decades TEER measurements have become
universally established as the most convenient, reliable
and non-destructive method to evaluate and monitor the
growth of epithelial tissue cultures in vitro.
