Flow-Through Cell Housed Oxygen Microsensor FTCH-PSt1

  • Perfusion monitoring in smallest volumes
  • High temporal resolution (< 5 sec.)
  • No consumption of oxygen
  • Measures in liquids as well as in the gas phase

The oxygen microsensor housed in a flow-through cell is optimized for a fast response time (t90< 1 sec in gas, < 5 sec. in liquid). The microsensor with a tip size 140 µm is integrated in a sleeve made of Teflon® tightened with a silicone rubber, which is mounted to a T-connector. The liquid volume inside the FTCH is about 310 µL. External tubing with an inner diameter of 1.6, 2.3, and 3.2 mm can be connected via Luer-Lock adpaters. Liquids (e. g. water, blood, etc.) can be pumped through the cell. The FTCH-PSt1 has a measurement range of 0 – 50 % oxygen, with a detection limit of 0.05 % oxygen.

Specification

Implantable Oxygen Microsensor IMP-PSt1 (Minimum Order Quantity: 3)

  • High spatial resolution (140 μm)
  • High temporal resolution (t90 < 3 sec.)
  • Integration into customized housings and set-ups
  • No consumption of oxygen
  • Measurement in headspace & liquids

This miniaturized optical oxygen microsensor is designed for various customized applications. The tiny probe has a tip size 140 µm. The microsensor tip is not mounted into any additional housing. The bare glass fiber tip can be mounted to your own housings, steel tubes and micro respirometer chambers etc. The small outer diameter even allows insertion into implantable Venflon-tubes. Moreover, the microsensor can be deployed in sealed containers to measure the oxygen content directly. The IMP-PSt1 has a measurement range of 0 – 50 % oxygen, with a limit of detection of 0.05 % O2.

Specification

IMP: implantable oxygen microsensor
PSt1: oxygen sensitive coating 0-250% air saturation
L5: length of optical fiber is 5 meter
LIC0: additional length of free inner plastic coating is 0 mm
BGF3: bare glass fiber length (Æ 140 µm) is 3 mm
TF: flat broken fiber tip with a diameter of 140 µm
OIW: with additional white optical isolation

NFSG-PSt1-L2.5-TF-NS40/0.8-OIW

NFSG-PSt1-L2.5-TF-NS40/0.8-OIW

Needle-Type Oxygen Microsensor with Fixed Sensor Tip NFSG-PSt1 (Minimum Order Quantity: 3)

  • High spatial resolution (< 140 μm)
  • High temporal resolution (t90 < 3 sec.)
  • No consumption of oxygen
  • Measurement in headspace or smallest volumes

The tiny sensor tip of this oxygen microsensor is fixed inside a steel needle, so it does not protrude the needle tip. It is specially designed for packaging applications and measurements in the headspace. Fixed inside the needle the sensor can be pierced through the packaging material and the oxygen content in the headspace can be determined within seconds. The NFSG-PSt1 has a measurement range of 0 – 50 % oxygen, with a limit of detection of 0.05 % oxygen.

Specification

NFSG: needle type housing with fixed oxygen microsensor (measurement in gas)
PSt1: oxygen sensitive coating 0-250% air saturation
L2.5: length of optical fiber is 2.5 meter
TF: flat broken glass fiber with a diameter of 140 µm
NS40/0.8: stainless needle with 40 mm length and 0.8 mm outer diameter
OIW: optical isolation white
